HERE’S HOW YOU KNOW YOUR DREAMS ARE TOO SMALL:
1. You are comfortable
You are comfortable with a job you are okay with . You are comfortable in a relationship you think is okay. No, that’s not really okay. If you are not super happy, fulfilled, and enthusiastic about your life, you are doing something wrong. It’s safe to come home and sit on a couch and what’s your TV series every night and going to a job that ” pays the bills”. But it’s a BIG sign you are not living up to your full potential.
2. You are not challenged
You are not challenged if you are not scared or in doubt about what’s going to happen. If you are not doing anything NEW in life you are probably living in a very comfortable position not getting new experiences in life.
3. What’s next does not scare you
Your goals should bring about a very uncomfortable feeling in the pit of your stomach when you think about them. It’s a scary kind of excitement. Your goals should have you up at night, and you should be a student of the game – learning all you can possibly learn in an effort to finally take your next steps forward.
If you want to take things to the next level, you need to be reaching. You need to be challenged. You need goals that you are afraid to try.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF:
For me, Happy means working from everywhere around the world, coaching people and coming home to an amazing partner that loves me. . Fulfillment looks like expanding my business and coaching more and more people towards their wildest dream. BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS looked like speaking on TED and collaborating with amazing coaches around the world to help others into more confidence, a growth mindset and fulfilling life. And once again, I’m going to bed thinking about how I can get another step closer to beyond my wildest dreams. I’m not yet comfortable. I’m challenged. And what’s next actually scares me to try. My point is… If you are comfortable, if your goals don’t scare you or keep you up at night, then they’re simply too small. Trust yourself to move beyond your wildest dreams.
