How amazing would it be if your breakfast will take you zero seconds in the morning and you can take it with you on an early morning walk, or sit on the beach or in a park? And to make it even more attractive… what if it tastes like Apple Pie dessert. I had this amazing experience of having overnight oats with the taste of apple pie for breakfast.
I just bought this little jar with overnight oats apple pie in a whole food store in Bali. I took it home and enjoyed my breakfast together with a big bottle of turmeric, Tamarind, and water mix that I also bought to recover from my three days of partying. But the breakfast was incredible.
I checked the ingredients of my breakfast because it was so yummy, and then found out that it’s so easy to make. I decided to make my own style of it and the same day I used the same jar to make my own.
I bought some rolled oats, soy milk, coconut milk, cinnamon, apples, and walnuts. I put everything in the jar and I have put it in the fridge and voila! Waiting overnight and see what kind of magic dish will come out of the fridge.
Waking up with the sun shining I walked down opened the fridge and there it was my homemade apple pie dessert for breakfast. Vegan and very delicious! Try it! You will absolutely love it and it’s super healthy.
What you need:
1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
1/3 cup plain coconut milk
1/3 cup soy milk (or almond milk or another milk)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Toppings: 1/2 chopped apple, chopped walnuts
Create your own style with:
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon of coconut flakes
1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon of almond flakes
